A 1.5-hour small group yoga therapy session for chronic pain focuses on gentle, supportive movement, breathwork, and relaxation techniques to help reduce discomfort and improve overall well-being. The session begins with grounding exercises to promote body awareness and calm the nervous system.
Guided by the instructor, the group moves through slow, mindful stretches and restorative postures designed to release tension and improve mobility without strain. Each participant is encouraged to listen to their body, with modifications provided to suit individual needs. Breath control (pranayama) and guided meditation are integrated throughout the session to enhance relaxation and reduce stress.
The class concludes with a collective deep relaxation or yoga nidra, fostering a sense of peace and healing. This small group setting offers a supportive environment where participants can feel connected and empowered on their journey to managing chronic pain.A recorded session is available after each class, so you can practice at home throughout the week
